Public permitted to attend meeting of EU scientific committee for fisheries

Brussels, 23/05/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Scientific, Technical and Economic Committee for Fisheries (STECF), which advises the European Commission on the state of fish stocks, has decided to open its meeting reviewing the cod stocks recovery plan on 5-9 June to the public. During this pilot exercise, observers will be able to listen to all the discussions and may be invited to contribute.
