According to report by EUMC Roma are grossly disadvantaged in public education in EU

Brussels, 08/05/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 4 May the European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia (EUMC, Vienna) published an overview report on the situation of the Roma and travellers in public education in the EU-25. This report illustrates that pupils from this minority are victims of direct and systematic discrimination and exclusion in schools in a number of EU countries.
