PES calls for moves to prevent sexual exploitation of women during football world cup

Brussels, 28/04/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Party of European Socialists (PES), chaired by Danish MEP and former prime minister Poul Nyrup Rasmussen, is calling on the JHA Council in Luxembourg on 26 and 27 April (see related articles) to take measures to 'prevent the trafficking of women to work as prostitutes during this summer's football World Cup in Germany.'
