28/04/2006 (Agence Europe) - The President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, René van der Linden, took part on 25 April in a special session of the Russian Federation's Duma, during its centenary anniversary celebrations at the Tavricheskiy Palace where the first State Duma took was held between 1906 and 1917. The visit took place just before the Russian Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, which begins on 19 May.
