Brussels, On 21 March the European Parliament's Culture Committee adopted the report of Hannu Takkula (ALDE, Finland) on the Community programme for bringing Union citizens closer together and fostering cohesion between Europeans, following the low turnout at the most recent European elections and the French and Dutch “no” votes on the European Constitution.
