Franco Frattini hopes to restore visa obligation for some countries during World Cup Football to combat forced prostitution - move to prevent sexual exploitation of women

Brussels, 09/03/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, European Justice Commissioner Franco Frattini floated the idea of bringing back the visa obligation for a number of countries during the period of the World Cup football tournament in June this year, in order to fight against forced prostitution in Germany. Speaking during a seminar at the European Parliament in Brussels, the Commissioner said he would suggest bringing back temporary visas for countries from whence the prostitutes come....
