06/03/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance under the EU Merger Regulator to the acquisition of sole control of Deutscher Industrie Service AG (DIS) by the Swiss company, Adecco SA (Adecco). Adecco is active in temporary and permanent employment services on a global scale, while DIS provides these services to companies in Germany and Austria. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure, a Commission press release states.
