06/03/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Academy of Law (ERA) is organising a conference in Trier on 9 and 10 March on the law governing cross-border securities. The conference will suggest a detailed analysis of the way in which cross-border securities are handled in Europe, mainly in the event of insolvency on the part of the borrower. Participants will include Spiros V. Bazinas from the UNCITRAL secretariat, Michael Becker, a solicitor, Christophe Benasconi from the Conference in The Hague on international private law, as well as several experts and academics.
