Brussels, 06/03/2006 (Agence Europe) - In order to smooth the way towards a new common organisation of the sugar markets, which is due to enter into force on 1 July, the Member States have agreed to a Commission proposal to cut their production of sugar, iso-glucose and inulin syrup by 2.5 million tonnes (13.6%).
