03/03/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Academy of European Law (ERA) in Trier, Germany, is organising a conference in Trier on 16 and 17 March on 2006 as the 'European Year for Mobility of Workers'. The conference will look at tax and social security problems faced by workers moving to different countries in the EU. European social law specialist Florence Hartmann-Vareilles explained that an online ERA forum aims to ensure that the conference will include relevant legal problems in frontier workers' daily lives. 'Forum contributions on taxation and social security issues show that frontier workers are not always treated equally,' said Pilar Nunez Ruiz, course director on European tax law.
