03/03/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 10 March, a workshop is to be held in Valencia, Spain, on the theme: The Single European Information Space in the EU i2010 Strategy, Contributions from regional and sectoral perspectives” organised by the project team, SEEMseed (study, evaluate and explore in the domain of the single European electronic market), with the support of the European Commission and the region of Valencia. The conference, attended by representatives of the Commission and of the region, aims to establish dialogue between the European Community and the regional authorities with a view to a common strategy for setting up an information society within the single market. Participants will also identify at public and private level the initiatives already in place, which can be used as examples of “good practice” in order to allow harmonious deployment of new information technologies.
