27/02/2006 (Agence Europe) - French Socialist Béatrice Patrie, president of the European Parliament interparliamentary delegation for Egypt, Jordan Lebanon and Syria is visiting the Lebanon on 27 February to 5 March. On 28 February she will visit Syria to meet political leaders and members of NGOs. In the Lebanon, a press release indicated that the MEP would also be meeting Patrick Renaud, representative of the European Union in Beirut, the Head of the Current Block for the Future Saad Hariri, the Head of the Block of Loyalty to the Résistance Mohamed Raad, Walid Joumblatt de Moukhtara, General Michel Aoun, vice-president of the Supreme Islamic Shia Council Abdel Amir Kabalan and the minister for telecommunications Marwan Hamadé.
