Brussels, 27/02/2006 (Agence Europe) - At the margin of the General Affairs Council on 27 February, the European Union and Switzerland signed a non-binding protocol of agreement under which Switzerland undertakes to provide one billion Swiss francs over five years to finance socio-economic projects in the ten new EU member States.
