27/02/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has granted clearance for NewCo's proposed acquisition of sole control of EOS Holding and of specific electricity assets held in Switzerland by EDF (EDF Swiss Assets) following the restructuring of Motor-Colombus AG (MC) and Aare-Tessin AG (ATEL). MC held a stake in ATEL, which is present in the energy sector, in Switzerland, and to a lesser extent in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Italy in particular.
