27/02/2006 (Agence Europe) - On the margin of the Winter Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly on 24 February in Vienna, the Socialist group proposed the Finn Kimmo Kiljunen for Chairman of the Assembly. If elected at the plenary session to be held in Brussels in July, Kimmo Liljunen will succeed current Chairman, the American Alcee Hastings, whose second term of office is coming to an end.
