Brussels, 13/02/2006 (Agence Europe) - Motivated by the European Youth Pact approved by the Spring Summit 2005 (EUROPE 8915), Sweden has suggested the same kind of initiative aimed at promoting, at European level, equal participation in the labour market by men and women and equal contribution to society as a whole. Denmark, Finland, France, Spain and the Czech Republic are associated with the initiative.
