13/02/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Presidency of the Assembly of European Regions (AER), chaired by Ricardo Illy (Friuli Venezia, Italy) will meet in Brussels on 17 February to discuss the challenges for European regions in 2006, particularly with regard to regional economic development, social policy and lifelong education.
