13/02/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Heart Network and the European Society of Cardiology are organising a conference entitled “Women's Health at Heart: Promoting Cardiovascular Health and Preventing Cardiovascular Disease” at the Résidence Palace in Brussels on 7 March. The conference, which is being held under the auspices of the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the EU, will focus on what makes cardiovascular disease different in women, risk factors and cardiovascular risk reduction. The conference will be opened by Austrian Health Minister Maria Rauch-Kallat and the European Health Commissioner Markos Kyprianou. (For further information: info@cvhconference.org)
