13/02/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Association of Paritarian Institutions for social protection (AEIP) is organising a conference on “European Health Reforms Against the Background of an Ageing Society - Same Challenges -Same Solutions?” in Lisbon on 16 March. AEIP General Secretary Bruno Gabellieri and former Portuguese Health Minister Maria de Belem Roseiro will open the event which will focus on: 1) European health reforms - solidarity at stake?; 2) the challenges of European health services provision; 3) free movement of patients and cross border cooperation in health; and 4) sharing information on the health of elderly people - outlook for the AEIP conference in 2007.
