10/02/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance to the acquisition of joint control of T-Power N.V. (T-Power) of Belgium by Tessenderlo Chemie S.A. (Tessenderlo) of Belgium, Siemens Project Ventures GmbH (SPV) of Germany and Advanced Power AG (AP) of Switzerland. The joint venture T-Power will develop, construct, own and operate a 400 MW gas-fired combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power plant. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
