Brussels, 29/11/2005 (Agence Europe) - On 30 November, the Commission is to adopt its proposals for total allowable catches (TAC) and quotas in 2006. It plans further to reduce the number of fishing days for several stocks of cod, sole, hake and Norway lobster and to extend the closed season for anchovy fishing in the Bay of Biscay and for sand-eels in the North Sea.
