ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) agri-food sector

The American consumer group, SARA LEE, has sold its European aperitif business to its compatriot, PEPSICO, for the sum of EUR 130 million. The sale concerns the “Benenuts” brand in France and the “Duyvis” brand in Belgium and the Netherlands. Together, they make up an annual turnover of EUR 88 million.
