Four candidates have demonstrated their interest for takeover of the private Italian airline, VOLARE. They are: ALITALIA, AIR ONE, NEOS (ALPITOUR group) as well as MERIDIANA, in association with EUROFLY. The low-cost company was placed under judiciary administration in November 2004 with liabilities of EUR 440 million.
