British AVIVA has created a joint insurance banking company in Ireland with AIB - ALLIED IRISH BANKS. The company, held at 75.01% by HIBERNIAN, an AVIVA subsidiary in Ireland, and at 24.99% by the life insurance subsidiary of AIB, ARK LIFE, will be specialised in life insurance and pension funds. The value of the combined activities in the future joint company amounted to EUR 1.33 billion in 31 December 2004.
