25/11/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has given its blessing to plans by the Fiat group to take sole control of Leasys SpA, for 33.5 million EUR, which it previously owned jointly with the electricity company ENEL. Leasys is active in the long-term leasing of light and heavy vehicles and in fleet management services, on which the Italian markets remain highly competitive due to the presence of many operators, such as Arval and Ald Europcar, the Commission concluded.
