25/11/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has cleared the proposal by Philips Electronics NV of the Netherlands to acquire sole control of the US company, Lumileds, which currently holds Agilent LED International, also in the United States. The deal, estimated at $950 million, was examined according to simplified procedure.
