Brussels, 04/11/2005 (Agence Europe) - On 4 October, the Commission adopted the second report on preparations for the adoption of the euro by the Member States without an opt-out (the 10 Member States which joined the Union in the most recent wave of enlargement plus Sweden), a report which aims to "ensure that when the decision to adopt the euro is taken, all conditions are fulfilled", Joaquin Almunia told the press.
