Green light at first reading to revision of legislation on food additives, adapting it to latest scientific data

Strasbourg, 04/11/2005 (Agence Europe) - Following its rapporteur, Mojca Drcar Murko (ALDE, Slovenia), the European Parliament gave its green light at first reading, in Strasbourg last week, to the revision of the European legislation on food additives, which was proposed by the Commission to bring it into line with the provisions of the most recent scientific data.
