03/11/2005 (Agence Europe) - A workshop in Paris on 25 October on reducing noise pollution from rail freight services, organised by the Community of European Railways (CER) and the International Union of Railways (IUR), unveiled the latest technology for reducing the noise output of freight rolling stock and other material, and more cost effective solutions than building noise-blocking barriers along rail track.
