Brussels, 25/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Eurodialog and Lai-momo project entitled "Common Values" offers young people five cartoons to introduce them to dialogue and tolerance, by dint of a comparison of the different cultures characterising European society of today. "I am very proud to be involved with the creation of this kind of inter-cultural project, for which we have fought hard", said Joan Ruiz, one of the founders of the project. The project was brought into being by a team of European and African writers and artists, who were able to use 300,000 EUR in aid, which was unblocked as part of the EU's programme: "Integration of Third Country Nationals". The project will be distributed at workshops in many schools in four partner countries: France, Italy, Spain and Belgium (more information, in French, Italian and Spanish, is available at: http: //http://www.valeurscommunes.org/ ).
