Efforts continue to allow Europe to prepare for flu pandemic

Brussels, 27/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - Meeting in Copenhagen from 24 to 26 October, experts of the European Commission, EU Member States and the WHO (World Health Organisation) once more took stock of Europe's preparedness for a flu pandemic. While acknowledging the fact that progress has been made by Member States, experts underlined that additional measures are needed in the early warning field and on the subject of storage of antiviral medicines.
