Commission adopts programmes to tackle various animal diseases eligible for EU funding in 2006

Brussels, 19/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - On 14 October, the Commission adopted a decision on programmes to monitor and eradicate animal diseases and various types of transmissible spongiform encephalopahies (TSE) and programmes to prevent animal diseases, for which EU funding has been earmarked in 2006.
