19/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - Further to a meeting under the chairmanship of the European Commission, which was attended by 20 Member States of the EU on 19 October, Greece, Italy, Lithuania and Slovakia have signed a protocol agreement, in which they agree for all new cars in Europe to be fitted out with an "eCall" emergency system by 2009.
