The German BAYER company is planning to sell its medical diagnosis subsidiary DIAGNOSTIKA (turnover of EUR 1.3 bn in 2004) to strengthen is medicines position with the acquisition of BHI - BOOTS HEALTHCARE INTERNATIONAL (“Nurofen” and “Strepsils” for EUR 2 bn.
