19/09/2005 (Agence Europe) - This Wednesday or Thursday, the Commission is to propose a revision of regulation 2320/2002 on safety in civil aviation (Official Journal 169 of 8 July 2003). This regulation, which was adopted further to the attacks of 11 September 2001, specifies the elements which must feature in national programmes to assess the quality of safety measures implemented in European airports.
