Commission calls on Sweden, Austria and Czech Republic to respect obligations on financial transparency

Brussels, 14/07/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has sent a reminder requesting Sweden, Austria and the Czech Republic to fully implement the Directive on financial transparency. It sent a formal reminder to Sweden about its obligation to comply with a ruling of the Court of Justice of 15 July 2004 and points out that the Kingdom has failed to fulfil its obligations under the EC Treaty by not implementing the Commission Directive on the transparency of financial relations...
