Players from sector and MEPs criticise Commission for remaining passive on external plank of sugar reform

Brussels, 14/07/2005 (Agence Europe) - Whilst taking position against price and production reductions which it felt were too drastic, players from the sector and MEPs mainly criticised the Commission for failing to provide a response, in its proposed reform of 22 June, to the external plank of the common market organisation (CMO) for sugar.
