Brussels, 01/07/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, Cyprus became the 11th EU member nation to ratify the draft European Constitution. Out of the 56 members of the Cypriot Parliament, 30 voted in favour of the draft, 19 voted against and one abstained. All Cypriot political parties - except for the Communists (AKEL) - which have twenty seats in the House, supported the text.
