Fischer Boel says breakdown of meetings in July would endanger agreement in Hong Kong at end of year

Brussels, 01/07/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Mariann Fischer Boel, announced in Brussels on Thursday that she hoped for progress this July in multilateral WTO negotiations on the Doha Round. This, she feels, is a necessary condition if an agreement is to be reached at the WTO ministerial conference planned for 13-18 December in Hong Kong.
