30/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - Ireland has a new Permanent Representative with the EU in Brussels. Since 28 June, Bobby McDonagh has replaced Anne Anderson who has been called to another post. Mr McDonagh was the first secretary for the Permanent Representation between 1987 and 1990 and worked, among other things, in the cabinets of Commissioners MacSharry and Flynn. The deputy permanent representative for Ireland also changed on 28 June, with Kenneth Thompson replacing Peter Gunning.
