2006 is proclaimed European Worker Mobility year with budget of EUR 6 million - Vladimir Spidla announces Commission report for mid-2006

Brussels, 30/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - At the initiative of Commissioner Vladimir Spidla, the European Commission proclaimed, on Thursday, that 2006 would be the European Worker Mobility Year. With a budget of EUR 6 million, it aims to make citizens aware of the advantages of working abroad and of a new occupation. This is the first European year geared to worker mobility issues.
