EIB and Kiev sign Framework Agreement for funding infrastructure projects in Ukraine

Luxembourg, 22/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - Philippe Maystadt, President of the European Investment Bank (EIB), and Oleg Rybachuk, Vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine, signed a framework agreement on 15 June governing EIB lending to projects in Ukraine. The signature will allow the Bank to proceed with the financing of projects in the areas of environment, transport, telecommunications and energy infrastructure in the country.
