EuroMed Human Rights Network in difficulty because of slow Community funding

Brussels, 03/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has not discharged its funding - sine July 2004 - of the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Network (EMHRN). A NGO petition mobilising support for the EMHRN is being circulated on the internet. According to the organisation, which is based in Denmark and brings together numerous human rights organisations from the EU and its Mediterranean partner countries, the affair is due to delays in procedure in the preselection of projects...
