Brussels, 03/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - At a meeting with the European Foundations Centre (EFC), Commission President José Manuel Barroso expressed his desire to continue discussions on the creation of a European Statute for Foundations. Statutes have been adopted for European societies and cooperatives, but the Commission has not yet proposed a European statute for foundations.
