Benita Ferrero-Waldner welcomes postponement of ruling on Bulgarian nurses and Palestinian medic

Brussels, 01/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - In a press release, European External Relations Commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner has welcomed the decision by the Libyan Supreme Court to postpone its ruling in the case of five Bulgarian nurses and a Palestinian medic sentenced to death for allegedly deliberately infecting sick children in a hospital in Benghazi (see Europe No. 8954).
