Brussels, 27/05/2005 (Agence Europe) - At the Agriculture and Fisheries Council in Brussels on 30 and 31 May, under the Presidency of Fernand Boden, ministers are expected to reach agreement in principle on rules for financing the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) for 2007-2013. They will also discuss crisis management tools for farming and will adopt a regulation to extend the current aid scheme for potato starch. They will adopt without debate conclusions on the EU's Forestry Strategy.
