Green light for acquisition of Clearwave by Vodafone

Brussels, 27/05/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has cleared the acquisition by Vodafone of Clearwave, a holding company which has mobile telecommunications subsidiaries in the Czech Republic and Romania. Vodafone does not have a mobile telephony network nor does it offer mobile telephony services directly in the Czech Republic so the deal would not overlap with Oskar Mobil, explains the Commission.
