Brussels, 24/05/2005 (Agence Europe) - Lorenzo Cesa (EPP-ED, Italy) will begin a public debate organised by his group on 30 May, in Brussels, on the theme of “The Legislative Framework for Electronic Communications: Implementation and Stages towards a Possible Revision” and will draw the subsequent conclusions. Participants include the European Commissioner for the information society, Viviane Reding, the director general of the information society at the European Commission Fabio Colasanti, and a number of senior representatives from the industry, including Marco Tronchetti -Provera, president of Telecom Italia, Karl-Uwe Riche, president of Deutsche Telecom, Joëlle Gauthier, Head of innovation and research at Alcatel, Achim Kaspar, president of the Association of Alternative Telecommunications Operators (ATO), Daniel Pataki, president of the Hungarian NRA, Peter Kokken, from the European Cable Communications Associations (ECCA), Erkkie Ormala from Nokia, Christian Morales, vice-president of EMEA-INTEL.
