23/05/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance to the acquisition of sole control of FTE Verwaltungs GmbH (FTE) of Germany by PAI Partners S.A.S. (PAI) of France, investment funds. FTE produces and sells car components, in particular transmission and brake systems. The operation was estimated to be worth EUR 370 million and was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
