23/05/2005 (Agence Europe) - Several central banks, including the European Central Bank (ECB), the US Federal Reserve and the Central Bank of Japan, joined forces to launch the International Journal of Central Banking (IJCB). This quarterly publication, the first edition of which is available on http://www.ijcb.org , highlights the quest for monetary and financial stability. The editorial committee consists of Ben S Bernanke, governor of the Federal Reserve, Hyun Shin, professor at the London School of Economics, Franck Smets, Deputy Director General at the ECB, Kazuo Ueda, professor at the University of Tokyo and Michael Woodford, professor at the University of Columbia.
